With over two decades in technology, I’ve served as Director of Information Technology for organizations across manufacturing, distribution, retail, and consumer goods. My focus has always been on aligning IT with business strategy—delivering secure, scalable systems that support growth, drive operational excellence, and reduce risk. I’ve served on executive steering committees, presented IT roadmaps to the board, and led enterprise-wide initiatives across sales, finance, and operations while managing multi-million-dollar budgets and capital investments.
I’ve implemented governance frameworks including NIST CSF, COBIT, ITIL, PCI-DSS, CIS, and SANS-based controls to enhance enterprise security. At National Oak Distributors, I built a layered cybersecurity program that integrated vulnerability management, GRC processes, and training. I’ve restructured disaster recovery programs using NIST 800-34, improved incident response across distributed locations, and ensured compliance with evolving standards like the FTC Safeguards Rule. My certifications span C|CISO, CISSP, CGEIT, CRISC, CEH, CHFI, CISSP and CCNA.
I’ve led hybrid infrastructure deployments across AWS, Azure, and on-prem systems, ensuring 99.9% uptime and enabling scalable operations for hundreds of users. My experience includes ERP implementations (NetSuite, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS), SAN upgrades, network optimization, cloud migrations, and remote site rollouts. I’ve overseen eCommerce platform modernization (Magento, Shopify), RF warehouse automation, VMware virtualization, and secure endpoint strategies, always focused on long-term resilience and performance.
Throughout my career, I’ve championed IT as a business enabler—not just a support function. I’ve worked closely with C-level leaders to develop strategic IT roadmaps tied to organizational goals, including digital transformation, compliance, and cost control. I led AI-driven ERP data initiatives to improve forecasting, automated processes to reduce manual workflows by 50%, and built dashboards that give executives visibility into service delivery, system health, and project performance. My goal is always measurable, sustainable impact.
Beyond the tech, I believe the success of any IT strategy depends on the people executing it. I’ve led diverse, distributed teams, developed SOPs and onboarding programs, and mentored rising leaders through both internal programs and national networks. My leadership style is collaborative, mission-driven, and grounded in servant leadership—shaped in part by my service in the U.S. Air Force and early background in law enforcement. I’m committed to building cultures of accountability, continuous improvement, and partnership between IT and the business
I hold certifications across governance, risk, security, and infrastructure, including CGEIT, CRISC, CEH, CISM, C|CISO, CISSP, and CHFI. I’ve completed leadership programs through the John Maxwell Group, Six Sigma Green Belt certification, and technical courses in Oracle, VMware, and Cisco systems. I actively mentor through ISACA and EC-Council, contributing to the next generation of IT and cybersecurity professionals through structured mentorship and leadership development.
